About the label
Dragon began with a single pressing and a conviction that the music being made around town deserved to be documented properly, recorded honestly, sleeved with care, and kept in print.
Five decades later the catalogue is under new ownership and runs to hundreds of titles: archival sessions, first records by players nobody had heard yet, and long-running relationships with artists who stayed.
